The meeting of a gastronomy-lover, chef, Gaëlle Benoiste Pilloire, and a wine lover, the château’s owner, Marie-Laure Lurton, in 2009, resulted in a cookery class unlike any other! This workshop focuses on food and wine pairings, with discussion and exchange between the students and the two creative women, one a fine food expert and the other a winemaker. Held at Château Villegeorge, the timing of the workshop is as follows: 18:00 to 18:30: tour and tasting - 18:30 to 20:00 cookery class - 20:00 to 21:30: tasting of the dishes cooked, paired with the wines.
