HENRI LURTON
HENRI LURTON
Between Margaux and Mexico, he cultivates his own vision of wine.
Heir to Château Brane-Cantenac, Henri Lurton carries on the excellence of the great Margaux grands crus while exploring new winemaking horizons in Mexico, blending Bordeaux tradition with innovation.

Son of Lucien Lurton, Henri took over Château Brane-Cantenac, a Grand Cru Classé of Margaux, in the 1990s. Heir to an exceptional family know-how, he modernized the estate while preserving the identity of its terroir and was an early advocate of sustainable viticulture. Under his leadership, Brane-Cantenac has strengthened its position among the greatest names of the Médoc.
Curious and internationally minded, Henri Lurton also founded an estate in Baja California, in northern Mexico, where he explores new grape varieties and climatic conditions. This project reflects his pioneering spirit and his desire to combine Bordeaux tradition with winemaking innovation on a global scale.
