Daughter of Lucien, Marie-Laure manages with both sensitivity and precision two great crus of Margaux and Haut-Médoc, while emphasizing hospitality and family heritage.
Daughter of Lucien Lurton, Marie-Laure took over the management of the family estates in 1992, notably Château La Tour de Bessan in Margaux and Château Villegeorge in Haut-Médoc. A trained oenologist with six years of experience working in other family properties, she modernized the estates by optimizing the vineyards and enhancing the quality of the wines.
Committed to a sustainable approach, she has also developed wine tourism at her estates and works alongside her son Gabriel. Together, they launched in 2024 the cuvée “Harmonie,” symbolizing the balance between tradition, innovation, and respect for the environment.
